Appointment in the Group Executive Team

Ms Annika Sundell, Lic.Tech has been appointed Executive Vice President - Innovation, with full responsibility for managing and initiating all new product development and R&D activities of Walki, including the Technology Competence Centre (TCC) in Pietarsaari.

Annika is joining Walki from Schur Flexibles, where she was Managing Director of the Finnish and Danish subsidiaries. Annika has a broad experience of the packaging industry, with a special focus on flexible packaging applications. Before going into general management, Annika has held positions in product development and R&D at KWH Plast Oy and Schering Oy (Bayer Oy).

Annika Sundell will be member of the Group Executive Group (GET), and she will be located at the Pietarsaari plant (TCC).
