Cama Group marks a new milestone in R&D with higher standards on show at Anuga FoodTec 2018

Visitors to the Cama stand at Anuga Food Tec in Cologne in March (Hall 7.1, Stand B011 – A010) will be able to experience in person the very last technological innovations made as standard on the full range of Break-Through Generation (BTG) systems, which mark a milestone in R&D: Higher Hygiene Standard; Open Profile; Safe «Easy Entry» and Ergonomic; Flexible Frame and Reduced Footprint; Energy Saving Engineering; Fool-proof Size-parts Recognition.

CAMA GROUP will exhibit on stand the innovative IF318 Fully Robotized Monoblock Loading Unit, a “pitch-less” integrated platform for forming/loading/closing of food and non-food products into paperboard or corrugated cartons or cases.

Working with a given product infeed capacity, you are free to change the number, and so the pitch, of boxes handled at each of the 3 robotic stations, each one de-coupled from the other ones, thanks to the independent electronic movers. Moreover, the innovative variable box handling device allows automatic changeover for all required carton/case size along the track, notwithstanding their shape and size, thereby eliminating any manual intervention during size change for this area of the machine.

IF318 was awarded “Best Future Machine 2017” in a Rockwell Automation competition, brilliantly showcasing Cama’s development of Smart Machines and of Industry 4.0, and how a modular design concept can be incredibly flexible and suit multiple applications.
