p.coat – Strong Matt Varnish

Matt varnish is providing a modern look for different products. Often used in combination with dark colours to create a classic and elegant design.

The challenge was that the filling line occurs damages in glass bottles contact areas with standard matt varnish. Especially by using dark art­works.

To prevent the matt finishing outside against scratches and other damages we created p.coat (protection coat) – a special and stronger matt-gloss varnish with soft touch effect.

Warninks launched the first bottles with this new varnish effect in cooperation with CCL Label Hohenems. No scratches – perfect result on the shelf.
