Cosmetics: a combi machine using 3 robots for packing and palletizing

The real benefit of combined case packing and palletizing applications lies in the reduced floor space taken upon packing lines, which have to be as compact as possible in cosmetics and pharma sectors, so that a single operator can run them.

The solution here is sold to a major player of the personal care industry.

• Packing station: based on a compact wrap around packer, where the packing of small bottles of perfume and the placing of interleaves are performed by two Fanuc robots.
• Palletizing station: robotic palletization includes a mini pallet de-stacker under the robot platform, which sends the empty pallet to the palletization station.

This combi machine also includes a labeler, a control station and a palletizating glue dispenser.
