Robatech constructs for further growth

On January 22, 2014, Robatech AG broke ground for its new expansion in Muri / AG. The roof will hold an innovative solar power system that should meet half of the company's energy needs.

At Robatech, a global specialist for industrial adhesive application systems, we invest in the sustainable growth of our company. "We want to be the service and technology leader for green adhesive application systems," explains Marcel Meyer, managing director and owner.

Not only is our logo green. True to our vision, our equipment and components are systematically developed to be energy and resource efficient. They are already among the most efficient and longest-existing on the market.

Meeting our high standards for sustainable production is also part of our new construction where we are installing a 1,000 m2 solar power system on the roof. Fifty percent of Robatech's energy needs should be met by the photovoltaic system. Only the excess electricity will be stored in the network. "This meaningful project is innovative and economical as well as ecological, and makes us a candidate for the solar prize," says Martin Spalinger, the project leader for the new construction.

Robatech uses this project to prove that alternative energy sources can cover costs within reasonable amortization schedules and without subsidies in industry as well.
