UPAKOVKA/UPAK ITALIA has established itself as the outstanding platform for making and maintaining business contacts in the Russian packaging market – the 20th international trade fair for packaging machinery, packaging production and packaging material is taking place in Moscow from 24 to 27 January 2012.

The market for packaging in Russia is still growing. Changing consumer behaviour and growing brand awareness are just two factors affecting the food sector in particular and many other sectors of the consumer goods industry. Domestic suppliers of packaging have to respond not only to a significant increase in demand, but also to higher expectations with respect to quality. Investments in modern machines and packaging are the result, and solutions for partial modernisations are also in great demand. There are excellent business opportunities for international suppliers who can provide innovative technologies and comprehensive service packages.

UPAKOVKA/UPAK ITALIA has established itself as the outstanding platform for making and maintaining business contacts in the Russian packaging market – the 20th international trade fair for packaging machinery, packaging production and packaging material is taking place in Moscow from 24 to 27 January 2012. Ideas and solutions for all branches will be exhibited once again at the Expocentre fairgrounds – the spectrum ranges from food and drinks to cosmetics and pharmaceutical products to chemical and consumer goods. There will be a special focus on the market for converting and package printing at the upcoming trade fair. The demand in this segment has already shown strong growth in recent years, not least due to new regulations concerning the labelling and identification of products. That is why, starting in 2012, there are two new focal points in the product categories of UPAKOVKA / UPAK ITALIA. This will enable suppliers of machines and plants for finishing packaging materials together with suppliers of technologies for manufacturing packaging materials and of machines and plants for printing packaging materials to raise their profile.
