Stretching technology for the production of high barrier films

More and more film producers are seeking to manufacture added value, high margin films, for example multi-layer, transparent high barrier and ultra high barrier film. Brückner has developed adequate line layouts based on its unique and approved in-house technology center, allowing sequential as well as simultaneous stretching of such kind of films. Brückner enhanced its product range and offers custom-made solutions in tune with the latest developments such as

Shrink film line concept for labels & sleeves

• High-speed CPP lines with working widths up to 6 m and yielding output capacities of 2.500 kg/h: e.g. twist wrap film, candy wrap, textile packaging, cut flower wrapping, laminated films, stand-up pouches
• Roll stack lines for A-PET or PET-G with output capacities of up to 3.000 kg/h: e.g. pharmaceutical, packaging, credit cards, office supplies, termoforming applications
• Lines for cast PET film with output capacities of up to 5.000 kg/h: e.g. food packaging (FFS: form-fill-seal), blister packs, thermoforming applications, lid films

Latest developments at Brückner`s unique technology centre

Film producers and resin suppliers are able to profit by using this facility for their own development. Brückner has already supported numerous new applications: e.g. multi-layer film types, high shrinkable and films, smooth elastic films, scratch free optical film, synthetic paper, nano-composites and nano-coatings for barrier film. On the pilot line numerous film types up to 7 layers can be manufactured in all stretching modes: MD, TD, sequential, simultaneous, providing necessary specifications for an upscale on the customers` production line.
