iXAPACK GLOBAL Cutting Range

iXAPACK GLOBAL is a French company specialised in the supply of weighing, cutting, packaging (Flowpack and X-Fold wrapping machine) and end-of-line equipment (cartooning, case packing, sleeving, case erecting and palletising) for companies from the food and cosmetics sectors.

The iXAPACK GLOBAL cutting range, composed of equipment equipped with ultrasonic technology for optimal product cutting, allows the handling of multiple products such as cheese, snacks, cold meats and pastries.

SDM Dividing Machine

SDM DIVIDING MACHINE: developed to meet the needs of the cheese sector, this equipment allows the cutting of wheels of cheese into angular portions. Equipped with one or two cutting heads, this equipment can reach up to 120 cycles per minute (variable depending on the product).

• Diving machine equipped with trays (round bases on which products are cut made of a special coating) allowing repeated blades’ blows without being altered
• The advantage of this cheese cutting equipment is its holding finger, placed on each of its cutting stations, which enables optimum precision while cutting, without needing tolls changeover between cheese formats. This is one of the strengths of this machine, as it allows cheese pre-packers to pass through a multitude of formats without constraint.
• Different types of wheel modelling are possible for fixed weight cuts: 3D modelling (managed and interpreted by our own software and programs), X-ray or 2D modelling.

SDPM Dividing Machine

SDPM DIVIDING MACHINE: also developed for the cheese industry, the fully automated SDPM Dividing Machine is equipped with a special conveying system enabling to keep the cheese wheel in reference throughout the entire cutting process for maximum cutting precision. Wheels’ picking by robot, weighing, 3D vision, mobile slitting blade and two portions’ cutting stations… All these elements enable it to cut up to 100 portions per minute. These portions are automatically returned to the conveyor belt for loading into a flow wrapper or a thermoforming machine.

• Fully automated equipment from the loading of the cheese wheels to the portions unstacking at machine output
• Statistics, instructions and faults display, adjsutment and memorisation of formats via a 19" touchscreen HMI.
• IP69K certified equipment cleanable with water and a foam gun.

SPM Portioning Machine

SPM PORTIONING MACHINE: The Portioning Machine is suitable for ultrasonic cutting of sliced blocks or smaller blocks in the cheese, pastry, cold meat sectors... Combined with a weighing and a product shape modelling system, the Portioning Machine is suitable for fixed weight cutting.

• Up to 130 cutting cycles per minute (depending on the product and the number of cutting heads)
• Slices stacking: straight or offset
• Stacks reconstruction
• Removal of heels and first slice by elevator-type conveyor
• Cutting of a multitude of formats without tooling change

SCM Cutting Module

SCM CUTTING MODULE: Equipment to cut multiple products such as pies, quiches, pizzas, pastries, cold meats or cheese. Suitable for cutting round, rectangular or block products, it can reach up to 60 cutting cycles/min (depending on the product). Its flexibility also allows it to cut fresh and frozen products.
