Labthink Obtained Satisfactory Results in Permeability Proficiency Service Held by Pira International

Recently, Permeability Proficiency Service of the year 2010 held by Pira International has accomplished. As one of the participants, Labthink has received reports of the comparison. According to the reports, data of Labthink are very close to medians in the items participated; Labthink has obtained outstanding and satisfactory results among 74 laboratories worldwide.

Pira International was established in 1937. Pira International is one of the founders of IAPRI, international Association of Packaging Research Institutes, and is one of the directors of ISTA, International Safe Transit Association. The data comparison activities held by Pira International have become the most attractive activities in global packaging testing field; especially, its permeability proficiency service has become the influential one of the industry.

Labthink Laboratory has always been focusing on permeability testing technologies and relevant development, emphasizing international cooperation and communications. Labthink contacted Pira International as early as in 2007, and has been enthusiastically participating international data comparison activities held by Pira International. In Permeability Proficiency Service of the year 2010, four samples from Lathink, under various testing conditions, have obtained data with |Z| values less than 1, which are quite similar to the statistical medians.
