Success of the Open-house for the HANDrollEX® line

The last open-house in our Azzate factory of the Handrollex® line for the production of stretch film ended at mid-November. The line exhibited has been tested with success in front of the East Europe buyer.

The open-house was an occasion to show to acquired and new customers the last innovations with respect to the previous version exhibited at Plast ’09:

• the production of very thin film with 12, 10 and 8 micron;
• the production of 10 small reels, with a width of 100 mm each, which are additional to the sizes already produced: 500, 450, 250, 150 and 125 mm;
• the new high precision optical measuring system, Optiscan, developed with Syncro and characterized by a 1/10 of micron resolution. The system is very easy to be used, it is compact, self-calibrating and has no radioactive sources: this, in particular, allows to avoid long bureaucratic procedures required by some Countries at the moment of the installation. For the time being the system has been deeply tested on Colines® lines for stretch film, but it is absolutely suitable also for reading PP and barrier films.
• The new management software of the raw materials specific for the production of stretch film which has been finetuned by Elav.

The line is undergoing a constant changing and expects to present itself at the next K 2010 Exhibition with further novelties.

Five other lines of the same series are currently under completion and are destined to customers in Europe, South America and North Africa. The next appointment with a Handrollex® line in open-house will be at the end of February.
