Press-releases Brueckner Maschinenbau at Interplastica 2010: Efficiency, productivity, performance & profitability for film producers In 2010 Brückner will celebrate their 50th anniversary. Due to this long-lasting experience in film production technology Brückner strengthened their leading position in 2009 even despite the worldwide financial turmoil. At Interplastica 2010 (Forum FD 38) Brückner presents latest technologies for film stretching lines and cast film technology from one supplier. Brückner has integrated both fields in view of the trend that also manufacturers of oriented film have shown increasing interest in the production of non-oriented cast and sheet film on highly efficient lines. Efficient and flexible BOPP lines Brückner`s BOPP lines meet the demand for innovative products in large and small lots: Working widths from 4 m up to 10 m, outputs from 900 kg/h up to 7,000 kg/hour and production speeds up to 525 m/min mark the highest flexibility within the film stretching line industry. Brückner also offers custom-made solutions in tune with the latest developments such as
Lines for manufacturing high performance BOPET film For a highly efficient production of thin flexible BOPET packaging film or optical film grades up to 400 µm Brückner presents a wide range of lines. Developments within this area comprise various working width and outputs: 3.4 m – 5.8 m – 6.7 m – 8.2 m – 8.7 m. Technological highlight: the unique multi-gap stretching for high uptime and output, optimal stability and films with improved properties. Another topic is Brückner`s concept for direct film casting (DFC). With this technology no extrusion is needed, the melt is delivered directly out of the poly-condensation to a flat die. ![]() Cast PET sheet lines with Chill Roll technology The special feature of Brückner’s Cast PET sheet technology is the use of an electrostatic pinning wire instead of a roll stack, to fix the melt curtain against cooling rolls of diameters up to 2,400 mm. With this technology film in a range of 125 µm to 1,000 µm can be extruded at widths of up to 2,000 mm at extremely high line speeds resulting in net outputs of 5,000 kg/h – an enormous advantage in productivity compared to roll-stack lines. Because of the industry`s demand for this special chill roll technology also in smaller lines Brückner presents brand new concepts for lower outputs. Market newcomers benefit from Brückner`s small cast PET sheet lines with an output of 1,000 kg/h at attractive prices. PET sheet lines for A-PET and PET-G In the conventional production method for PET Sheet, the 3-roll stack, Brückner is offering roll face widths of 1,400 mm to 2,700 mm and outputs from 1,000 kg/h to 2,500 kg/h. The patented JUBO polishing roll features a maintenance free system to adjust the crowning during production and polish films down to 125 µm and below. Energy efficient processing of un-dried PET virgin material and PCR flakes is a further core competency of Brückner in this field. High performance CPP lines Brückner CPP lines allow for the production of films from 3.2 m to 6 m net. With outputs from 1,100 to 2,500 kg/h these lines guarantee highest productivity.
